Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow ... being a Hero or a Heroine

The term hero comes from ancient Greek, where it describes a culture hero who figures in mythology. A Hero or Heroine commonly possesses superhuman capabilities or idealized characters traits which enable him or her to perform extraordinary, beneficial deeds.

Nowadays, the word make people laught as it becomes so incongruous, regarding to the values of the actual society. The Medias prefer to show violence. Some glorify the bad actions. Why ?
Beacause, it's exactly WHAT people want to hear and to see.

At office with your colleagues or in a restaurant with your friends, just try to speak about the Hero. And you will be directly treated like a simple dreamer. You will be invited to descend from your planet. Of course, Heroes do not exist, except in films.

A few days ago, i had a discussion with my nephew. He told me all about his super Heroes, Superman, SpiderMan, Silver Surf, etc., and all about his dreams. I was captivated and fascinated by his wishes and his dreams for a better future. The children have a big faith in tomorrow. They believe in super Heroes because adults person or their parents have abandonned that lead role.

So i asked myself : what will the elders donate to the children as heritage ?

We stopped dreaming. We do not believe anymore ...
